Who we are
At Port Campbell Baptist Church, we are a family of believers committed to worshipping God and serving our community. Join us every Sunday at 10:30am for uplifting services where people of all ages come together in worship, prayer, and fellowship. Our church is dedicated to offering pastoral care, supporting one another through life’s challenges, and fostering spiritual growth.
We believe in active involvement in the community through combined church activities, outreach programs, and support for missions and charities. Our occasional Cafe Church provides a relaxed space to connect with others, while our Youth Group and Sunday School nurture the next generation’s faith. We also organize Seniors Trips, fostering fellowship and connection among our older members and friends who may not usually come to church, giving them opportunities to enjoy time together.
We are passionate about outreach, praying for others, and serving those in need both locally and globally. With family-friendly services, there's something for everyone at Port Campbell Baptist Church. Whether you're new to the Christian faith or looking for a vibrant community to call home, we invite you to be part of our welcoming family.

Message From
The Pastor
Welcome to Port Campbell Baptist Church!
At Port Campbell Baptist Church, we want to help you discover who God is and how deeply He cares for you. For over 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of this church family, and for more than a year, I’ve been blessed to serve as pastor. It is my heart’s calling to serve God by serving this community and church family, and I would love to share this journey with you.
We believe humanity was designed by God to enjoy an unrivalled relationship with the Creator; a Creator who cares for us. But man chose to go his own way, to rebel against God’s plan, and as a result we have a problem. We know that all created things do not exist in harmony and that we do not enjoy the relationship with our Creator that was intended. We have a problem. For centuries, people have sought solutions through various philosophies and efforts, yet the brokenness remains.
But here’s the good news: we have a solution. Jesus is the answer to our problem, and surprisingly, it is because he became human that he can be the answer to our problem.
We need to ponder this for a minute. Our problem is solved because the son of God, heir of the universe, the agent of creation, the exact representation of God’s being and the radiance of his glory became a human.
He is both our pioneer and our saviour. Because Jesus became human, He understands our struggles and can bridge the gap between us and God. Christ came to earth, lived as a human, suffered death on our behalf, demonstrated that he conquered death through the resurrection, and returned to the Father.
Christ is victorious and triumphant. He has completed his task. We are urged to come into the presence of a God who welcomes us and a Christ who understands us. We can approach God with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Whether you’re exploring faith or have been walking with Christ for years, we’d love for you to join us. Come worship with us every Sunday at 10:30am, or through some of the other events you will find on this website. Please don’t hesitate to reach out through the contact details on our website.
Warm regards,
James
